Father, son among 3 killed in firing over land dispute in Patiala’s Rajpura

Chandigarh: Three persons, including a father-son duo, were killed and three others injured in firing over a land dispute at Rajpura in this district today, police said on Wednesday.

The injured have been shifted to Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. The deceased have been identified as Dilbagh Singh of Chhatar Nagar Naugawa village, his son Jaswinder Singh Jassi and another person Satwinder Singh.

The firing took place due to a dispute between two groups over possession of cultivable land. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem.
