Father, son shot dead in Fazilka

Chandigarh: A father-son duo was shot dead in Fazilka, both of whom are residents of the same village. Giving information, Avtar Singh’s brother Karm Singh said that his brother Avtar Singh had taken about 8 acres of land on lease in the village itself, on which his brother was earlier a farmer, who is a resident of Paaka village.

He said that his brother Avtar Singh and nephew Harmeet Singh were watering the fields taken on contract when the accused came to the spot and shot his nephew Harmeet Singh with a revolver and then also shot his brother Avtar Singh.
