Fire breaks out at Maqsudan police station in Jalandhar, record room items and seized vehicles burnt

Chandigarh: The fire broke out in Maqsudan police station of Jalandhar countryside at around 11 am on Monday. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

According to the team that reached the spot, the fire could have been caused by a short circuit or other reasons, which is being investigated.

According to the information, the fire started in Maqsudan’s record room and goods where weapons, recovered goods and liquor boxes were also lying.

Due to the fire, the vehicles carrying were completely burnt. The investigation team and police officials refused to say anything on the extent of the damage at the moment.
