Fire breaks out at PGI Advance Eye Centre in Chandigarh
Chandigarh: A major fire broke out at the Advanced Eye Centre of PGI Chandigarh on Monday morning. As soon as it was discovered, there was a stir there. The fire started in the basement of the center. The fire brigade was immediately called to extinguish it.
There was a half-day in PGI on Saturday and a holiday on Sunday, due to which a large number of patients came on Monday. As soon as the fire was detected, the OPD was immediately evacuated. After which the work of extinguishing the fire was started. During this time, smoke started filling there, so all the gates of the center were opened. The window panes were broken.
