Five Army personnel injured in road accident in Jalandhar

Jalandhar: Five Army personnel were injured in a road accident near Suchi village in Jalandhar district today, police said. The accident took place when a truck hit their vehicle. The army vehicle was on its way to Pathankot Chowk from PAP Chowk at the time of the accident, police said.

After being hit by the truck, the army vehicle overturned on the other side of the highway. The injured soldiers have been admitted to the military hospital. The truck driver fled from the spot after the accident.
