Former CM Beant Singh’s killer Hawara gets parole for 2 hours to attend niece’s wedding on Dec 3

Chandigarh News: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted two-hour parole to Jagtar Singh Hawara, the main accused in the assassination of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. This parole has been given to attend the niece’s wedding. Hawara has been granted parole from 11 am to 1 pm on December 3 for his niece’s wedding.          Earlier, Hawara’s brother had died in April, but then Hawara did not get bail. Now the High Court has granted parole for the niece’s marriage. 
       Hawara’s lawyer had said that on December 3, he should be granted parole from 10 am to 3 pm. However, the court granted him a two-hour parole grant after consideration. Punjab Police security will be deployed near Hawara at all times. Two hours later, he will have to come to jail again.
