Former CM Parkash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Badal seek bail in Kotkapura firing case

Former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal have filed anticipatory bail pleas in Faridkot district court in connection with the charge sheet filed in the Kotkapura firing case. The petition will come up for hearing on March 14 in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Rajiv Kalra.

The SIT had filed a charge sheet in the Kotkapura firing case on February 24. On March 6, the JMIC court issued notices to the two accused, including Badal, and ordered them to appear on March 23.
