Former Ludhiana DSP’s brother, sister-in-law sentenced to 8 years in drug case

Chandigarh: The Punjab DSP Dilpreet Singh Sher Gill died of a heart attack while doing gym in Maler Kotla on February 22 in Ludhiana, Punjab. His brother, sister-in-law and brother’s accomplice were sentenced by the court of Additional Sessions Judge Sandeep Singh Bajwa in the drug smuggling case.

Model Town resident Harpreet Singh is the younger brother of DSP Dilpreet Singh Shergill. Harpreet and his wife Sarabjit Kaur were sentenced to eight years of rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 80,000.
