Former SGPC president Kirpal Singh Badungar resigns from Akali Dal recruitment committee

Chandigarh: Former president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar, has resigned from the seven-member recruitment committee of the Shiromani Akali Dal.

He submitted his resignation to Giani Raghbir Singh, Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

The move follows SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami’s resignation from his post on Monday, along with his demand to be removed from the same committee.
