Gangster injured in police encounter

Batala: The Batala police have arrested a gangster in an injured condition after a two-way gunfight that lasted for nearly three hours this morning. During the encounter in the fields of Longowal village near Batala, the police and the gangster opened fire.

The gangster was injured in the encounter and the police have arrested him and admitted him to the Civil Hospital Batala.
