Governor administers oath to five Punjab ministers
Chandigarh: The Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government today reshuffled the cabinet and inducted five MLAs as ministers. Governor Gulab Chand Kataria administered the oath to the new ministers during the oath-taking ceremony at the Raj Bhavan here. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other party leaders were present on the occasion.
Among those who took oath as cabinet ministers were Hardeep Singh Mundian, Barinder Kumar Goyal, Tarunpreet Singh Saund, Dr. Ravneet Singh and Mahendra Bhagat.
They took the oath in Punjabi. Three MLAs from Malwa region and two from Doaba region have been made ministers. This is the fourth cabinet reshuffle of the AAP, which came to power in the state 30 months ago.
Earlier, four ministers Chetan Singh Joramajra, Anmol Gagan Mann, Balkar Singh and Brahm Shankar Jimpa were dropped from the cabinet.
