SAS Nagar: The Punjab Panchayat Department has withdrawn the letter prohibiting bank transactions by the panchayats.
After the dissolution of the panchayats of Punjab by the state government, the rest of the funds given to the panchayats except salaries were also stopped. A letter was issued to all departments and deputy commissioners in this regard.
