Harsimrat Kaur Badal asks question in Parliament, Speaker says, ‘It is for Punjab government’

New Delhi: Question Hour is continuing in both Houses during the monsoon session of Parliament. Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal questioned the government in the Lok Sabha, saying that it has not done anything for the flood-affected people in Punjab.

In response, Speaker Om Birla said that this question pertains to the Punjab government, and they will have to provide an answer. He was joined by Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil, who requested that such questions not be addressed.
