IAS officer Yashpal Garg saved life of a heart attack patient by giving CPR in Chandigarh

In fact, a video of this senior IAS officer of the year 2008 batch is going viral on social media, in which he is seen giving cardiopulmonary resuscitation i.e. CPR to a person.
According to the information received, Janak Lal, a resident of Sector-41, Chandigarh, reached the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) office on Tuesday morning, where he suffered a heart attack and fell there. Meanwhile, when Health Secretary Yashpal Garg came to know about this, he immediately reached there and saved Janak Lal’s life by giving CPR. He has now been kept under observation at the Government Multi Specialty Hospital in Sector-16.
Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal shared a video of the incident on Twitter and praised Chandigarh Health Secretary Yashpal Garg and said every human being should learn CPR.
