Infighting in Congress, Former Minister Ashu skips Ludhiana MP’s meeting
Chandigarh: There is a lot of controversy within the Ludhiana district Congress. For the past several days, the distance between Congress working president Bharat Bhushan Ashu and MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has been increasing. Sometimes Ashu does not include Warring’s picture on the boards, and other times Warring does not print Ashu’s picture on the thank you boards. Ashu has also expressed his frustration on social media several times.
Warring reached Ludhiana today and held a meeting with Congress workers at the circuit house, but state working president Bharat Bhushan Ashu was absent.
When reporters asked why Ashu was not seen at Warring’s meetings, Warring said, “We had sent a message to everyone. Some people came and some did not. Maybe someone had an important job.”
Warring said that everyone needs to stay united. He said that if all the leaders give statements in different tones, it will be difficult to win in 2027. All Congress members need to stay united.
