‘Insta Queen’ Punjab Police constable dismissed for selling heroin

Chandigarh: A woman constable of Punjab Police has been dismissed from service for allegedly selling heroin in Haryana. The constable, known as ‘Insta Queen’ on social media, was arrested by Bathinda police on Thursday with heroin.

A joint team of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force and Bathinda police apprehended her on Badal Road while she was traveling in her Thar SUV to supply heroin in Sirsa. Officials said she had purchased the vehicle 20 days ago.

When stopped by police, she initially threatened the officers and later attempted to flee. However, she was chased down and arrested. A search of her vehicle led to the recovery of 17.71 grams of heroin from the gearbox.

The constable was posted in Mansa but was also attached to the Bathinda police line. Police suspect that she is a drug addict and plan to conduct a dope test.
