Jalandhar bypolls: Bibi Surjit Kaur joins AAP

Jalandhar: A major political upheaval has begun in Punjab ahead of the Jalandhar by-election. Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) candidate Bibi Surjit Kaur, who is contesting from here, has suddenly joined the Aam Aadmi Party. She took the decision after meeting Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The Chief Minister has given her a warm welcome in the party. Polling for the Jalandhar by-election will be held on July 10.
