Jalandhar Rural Police conducts major operation under “Yudh Nashya Virudh” campaign, raids on 38 places and 17 medical stores

Jalandhar News: Addressing the media in this regard, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Gurmeet Singh PPS said that no person involved in drug dealing will be spared. Strictest action will be taken against them. Anti-social elements are warned to stop drug dealing because Jalandhar Rural Police has adopted strict stance under the ‘Yudh Nashya Virudh’ campaign. The property created by drug dealing will be destroyed through legal process.

He also added that raids were conducted at 38 places, 53 suspects were searched during the raids and 17 medical stores were checked. During this raid, 01 case was registered. 01 person was arrested. 52 narcotic pills were recovered.

SSP Jalandhar Rural appeals to the public to inform the Safe Punjab Anti-Drug Helpline number 9779100200, 112 or the nearest police station for any information about drug-related activities. The name and address of the person providing the information will be kept confidential.
