Jasvir Garhi expelled from BSP, Avtar Karimpuri re-elected as Punjab state president

Chandigarh: Bahujan Samaj Party Punjab state president Jasvir Singh Garhi has been expelled from the party on charges of ‘indiscipline’.

In his place, the party’s former state president and former Rajya Sabha member Avtar Singh Karimpuri has been made the new state president.

BSP’s Punjab affairs in-charge Randhir Singh Beniwal confirmed the decision that Jasvir Singh Garhi has been expelled from the party and Avtar Singh Karimpuri has been given the responsibility of Punjab again in his place.

According to sources, in the party meeting held recently, Jasvir Singh Garhi had publicly raised the issue of why the in-charge of party affairs seems to be from Uttar Pradesh.
