Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh slams Raja Warring for remarks on Sri Akal Takht Sahib

Amritsar: Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghbir Singh, has strongly condemned the recent statements made by Punjab Congress President Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, which he claims have undermined the sovereignty and dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

In a statement issued from the Secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghbir Singh highlighted that the institution, established by the sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, holds the highest authority in upholding Sikh principles.

The Jathedar expressed concern that Warring’s remarks, driven by political arrogance, have deeply hurt the honour and sovereignty of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, calling such behavior intolerable.

He reiterated that Sri Akal Takht Sahib stands as the supreme seat of authority for Sikhs who follow the Gurmat principles and that any individual disregarding these values will not be accommodated.
