Jodhpur incident should be probed by retired judges: Jathedar Raghbir Singh
Amritsar: Taking strong note of the incident in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur where amritdhari students were stripped of their clothes during a judicial examination, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh has asked the SGPC to constitute an inquiry committee comprising retired Sikh judges and lawyers to conduct a high-level inquiry into the matter.
In a video message, Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh said that such incidents make the Sikhs feel enslaved. Sikhs have made great sacrifices for the freedom of the country and have made a significant contribution to the progress of the country. Despite this, such incidents are insulting and hurting the Sikhs.
