KKR dominate PBKS in Mullanpur as Punjab collapse in 15 overs
Mohali: In the 31st match of IPL 2025, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) delivered a clinical performance against Punjab Kings (PBKS), bowling them out in just 15.3 overs at the Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Punjab.
KKR’s bowlers and fielders were in top form, with Ramandeep Singh taking two spectacular catches that turned the momentum firmly in Kolkata’s favour. Punjab’s batting line-up crumbled under pressure, leaving fans and team co-owner Preity Zinta visibly disappointed.
Despite the home team’s poor show, the stadium was packed with Punjab supporters, many wearing PBKS jerseys. Fans had travelled from Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, and even London to support the team.
Meanwhile, KKR fans celebrated every boundary and wicket with loud cheers, fireworks, and music echoing across the stadium, adding to the festive atmosphere.
