Ladowal toll plaza to be free tomorrow, farmers give ultimatum to NHAI

Chandigarh: The country’s most expensive toll plaza Ladowal is going to be free tomorrow. Farmers will hold a protest here tomorrow. The Bharatiya Kisan Mazdoor Union has issued a warning to the NHAI that if the old rates of Ladowal toll plaza are not implemented by Saturday, then it will be completely free on Sunday.

Farmer leaders have issued this ultimatum on social media. Toll rates have been increased for the third time in a year.

The Ladowal toll plaza on NH-44 of the National Highway Authority of India is currently charging the most expensive road tax in the state. There is a lot of anger among people about this expensive toll plaza.
