Lalpura advocates for comprehensive planning for restoration of holy kali bein

Assures all possible technical and financial help from Jal Shakti department

Kapurthala News: With an aim to restore the revival of holy “kali bein “ , the chairman of minority commission Mr. Iqbal singh Lalpura today urged all the stakeholders to work in unison for comprehensive planning by keeping in view the religious importance of this holy bein .

Today chairing the meeting of “ Guru Nanak sacred bein restoration committee “ here at rest house , Mr. Lalpura said that “ it is the duty for all of us to work for this noble cause where first Sikh Guru Nanak Dev ji gives the message of humanity and brotherhood .

He asked the officials of district administration, society members and religious organisations to identify the reasons behind the pollution in holy bein besides making all out efforts to restore the beauty of holy bein as it will not only a source of inspiration from religious aspect but also maintaining water level and source of attraction for tourists.

He also hailed the efforts made by member Rajya Sabha sant baba Balbir singh seechewal for holy bein .

ADC ( G) Mr. sagar Setia assured the commission that district administration along with the society will chalk out a comprehensive plan as soon as possible besides making scientific study to save the eco system along the kali bein .

Society General Secretary Mr . Parveen Walia informed the chairman who is also president of the society about the contribution of society towards the restoration of kali bein .
