“Law and order should be maintained, use of force should be the last resort…” HC intervenes on farmers’ protest
New Delhi: The High Court has issued a firm directive stressing the paramount importance of upholding law and order amidst the ongoing farmers’ agitation.
Emphasizing the significance of adherence to legal frameworks and due process, the court urged all stakeholders to prioritize peaceful resolutions through constructive dialogue.
After the lack of agreement between the Center and the farmers, the farmers have started marching to Delhi. The police fired tear gas shells on the crowd of farmers gathered at the Shambhu border from Fetehgarh Saheb, after which there was chaos. In view of the farmers’ protest, tremendous security arrangements have already been made on the border of Delhi.
