Additional Chief Electoral Officer visits counting centre in Jalandhar

Jalandhar: Additional Chief Electoral Officer Harish Nayar today visited the counting center for Jalandhar Parliamentary Constituency situated at the premises of the Director Punjab Land Record Society and Government Arts and Sports College in Jalandhar.

He directed officials to ensure a smooth and error-free counting process on June 4, 2024, following the guidelines of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

During his visit, Mr. Nayar reviewed the counting arrangements and assessed the security measures at the strong rooms. His inspection aimed to guarantee that all preparations are in place for a transparent and efficient vote counting process.

Furthermore, he took stock of preparedness by district administration to count votes during this mammoth exercise. Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh, ARO Darbara Singh, Election Tehsildar Sukhdev Singh were present on the occasion.
