Ludhiana man murdered in Manila

Chandigarh: A case of murder of a Punjabi youth has come to light in Manila. The young man was a resident of Ramgarh Sivia village of Ludhiana. The deceased has been identified as Avtar Singh (35).

The deceased was the only brother of three sisters. Village resident Inderpal Singh said that Avtar Singh had gone to Manila to meet his sister about seven-eight years ago.

There he started working in finance. He said that the deceased Avtar Singh had 10-12 acres of land in the village but he had to sell out eventually. He later moved to Manila.
