Ludhiana MP Bittu takes CM Mann’s side, lashes out at Sukhbir Badal for defamation case
Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has initiated a defamation case against Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann in Chandigarh.
Reacting to the development, MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, defended the CM and that Sukhbir Badal seems eager to sue numerous people. Bittu highlighted the sentiment among 3 crore people in Punjab and 2 crore Punjabis abroad, asserting the occurrence of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Bargari during the Badal government.
Bittu criticized Badal for not taking action against them during the time of the alleged desecration, pointing to posters he had displayed. Bittu expressed that people have rejected the Badals, emphasizing that devotees of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji will not forgive Sukhbir Badal.
Bittu said that Badal, unable to secure justice for Guru Sahib Ji’s sacrilege, lacks the right to file defamation cases and has lost political ground, resorting to daily statements to maintain a presence in Punjab.
