Ludhiana MP raises drug issue in Parliament: blames central government dor nuisance
New Delhi: Punjab Congress President and Ludhiana MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring lashed out at drug peddlers in the Lok Sabha session. Citing a news report published in a news paper recently, Warring asked the central government to intervene in the matter.
Warring said that a two-four day special session of the Lok Sabha should be held on drugs so that a discussion can be held on how to stop the growing drug menace in Punjab. Warring said though drug abuse was a big problem for the entire country, Punjab was one special state where the menace was increasing day by day.
