Ludhiana West bypoll to be held on June 19, ECI announces schedule

Ludhiana Bypoll:  The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced that the by-election for the Ludhiana seat will be held on June 19, 2025.

According to the official schedule, the notification for the election will be issued on May 26.

The last date for filing nominations is June 2, while scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on June 3. Candidates will have until June 5 to withdraw their nominations.

Polling will be held on Thursday, June 19, and the counting of votes will take place on June 23. The entire election process will be completed by June 25.
