Maharani Geeta Devi, wife of Maharaja Sukhjit Singh of Kapurthala, passes away at 86
Maharani Geeta Devi, wife of Maharaja Brigadier Sukhjit Singh of Kapurthala, passed away in Delhi last evening.
She was 86 years old. According to the information received, she died at her home in Greater Kailash after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband Maharaja Sukhjit Singh, son Tikka Raja Shatrujit Singh and daughters MK Gayatri Devi and MK Preeti Devi. The queen’s funeral will be held in Delhi today.
