Manpreet Badal to skip joining Bathinda vigilance investigation today on medical grounds

Mohali News: Former Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Badal, who is embroiled in a land allotment case in Bathinda, has been summoned for questioning by the Vigilance Bureau today. A few days ago, he got interim bail from the High Court. After which the vigilance sent summons asking to join the investigation.
However, according to sources, Manpreet Badal will not appear here. According to Manpreet’s close friends, he has pain in his back. He will not come due to ill health.
He is accused of causing a loss of Rs 65 lakh to the government in the purchase of two plots of 1560 yards in Phase One of Model Town. However, Manpreet had argued that the Bathinda Development Authority had fixed these reserve rates. He did not cause any harm.
