Mansa government employee dies of drug overdose
Mansa News: A young man died on Tuesday due to alleged drug overdose in Mansa. The family kept the body in the civil hospital and protested daily in the district court of Mansa.
The deceased has been identified as Parvinder Singh (28), of Mansa.
According to the family, the said young man had been consuming drugs for the last 6 years, who also sold his land under the influence of alcohol.
Prabhdeep Kaur, sister of the deceased, said that her only brother was Parminder. Who used to do a government job and due to intoxication, he also sold his land property.
He also used to beat them up for the sake of drugs. He had also appealed to the police to take action against drug peddlers. But no action was taken against them by the police.
