MINISTER, MP, AND DC REVIEW ARRANGEMENTS FOR CM YOGSHALA AT PAP GROUND

Jalandhar News: Local Bodies Minister Balkar Singh, Member Parliament Sushil Kumar Rinku, and Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal today reviewed arrangements for CM Yogshala event scheduled to be held on June 20, 2023, at Jalandhar PAP Ground. They directed the officials to work zealously to make this gala event a mega success in Jalandhar which would act as a catalyst to promote yoga among the masses.

In a review meeting with the officials concerned, they took stock of every minute activity being carried out at the venue. They directed the officials that this event would be organized in an unsurpassable manner as thousands of volunteers would perform yoga at this ground on June 20, under the guidance of experts. The Minister, MP and the DC also issued necessary directions to the officials concerned to further streamline the preparedness for this event.

Pointing out further, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that the duties have already been assigned to different departments so that officials could perform their duty with a sense of clarity. He also mentioned that he was personally holding a review of entire arrangements on a daily basis to ensure all the preparations were taking place as per the blueprint of this mega event. The Deputy Commissioner assured the Minister and the MP that the entire event would be held smoothly, especially in view of the influx of thousands of participants.

Prominent among others present in the meeting included Chairperson Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, Commissioner Jalandhar Municipal Corporation Abhijit Kaplish, Additional Deputy Commissioners Varinderpal Singh Bajwa, Jasbir Singh, Major Amit Mahajan, Jagroop Singh Sekhwan, Amit Bajaj, and officials from different departments were also present at the meeting.
