Mobile phone explodes in girl’s hand while watching video in Punjab’s Gurdaspur, receives 15% burns

Chandigarh: Mobile battery of a three-year-old girl blasted while watching the video in the nearby village of Hardobathwala.

The girl’s legs and other limbs were also burnt along with the fire in her clothes. Sapna, mother of three-year-old Divya, said that this afternoon she was doing her domestic work and her daughter was watching the video on touch phone.

During this time, suddenly the battery of the phone exploded due to which there was an explosion and the girl’s clothes caught fire.

The girl was rushed to civil hospital Gurdaspur where her condition is out of danger.
