Moga: Three members of a family were killed and another seriously injured in a car-motorcycle collision
Punjab E News: Three members of a family were killed in a head-on collision between a car and a motorcycle near Singhanwala village on the city limits on the Moga-Kotkapura national highway here this morning and the woman has been referred to Faridkot as her condition is critical, police said.
Tarsem Singh (35), a resident of Data village near Dharamkot, was going to a religious place in a village near Baghapurana with his wife Vicky Kaur, 6-year-old son Gurman Singh and mother Harwinder Kaur alias Binder Kaur (57) on a motorcycle.
Meanwhile, his motorcycle collided with an Alto car coming from the opposite direction near Village Singhanwala on the city border on moga-Kotkapura national highway here. The accident was so severe that the car went to the other side of the road and hit the tree. Tarsem Singh, his six-year-old son Gurman Singh and mother Harwinder Kaur alias Binder Kaur died on the spot. His wife Vicky Kaur has been referred to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot by doctors due to serious injuries.
According to the police, the occupants of the car were on their way from Sriganganagar to Mata Chintapurni darshan and escaped unhurt as the airbag was opened.
Station House Officer (SHO) Balraj Singh and ASI Jasvir Singh said the matter was being investigated.
