Navjot Singh Sidhu holds rally in Moga, local leaders open front
Chandigarh: Former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu is addressing a rally in Moga. He has reached the Prime Farm rally venue at Bughipura bypass.
With the opposition from Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) leaders, the protest of the rally has also commenced at the district level. Bollywood actor Sonu Sood’s sister and assembly halka in-charge Malvika Sood, along with Moga in-charge Sukhjeet Singh Kaka Lohgarh, have instructed the workers not to attend Sidhu’s rally.
Previously, Sidhu held rallies during Punjab Congress in-charge Devendra Yadav’s visit to Punjab, which faced opposition. Sidhu did not attend the party meeting and proceeded to Hoshiarpur to conduct a rally.
Later, Sidhu held a closed-door meeting with the Punjab in-charge. At that time, Punjabi Congress in-charge Amarinder Singh Raja Warring explicitly stated that action would be taken against anyone who does not maintain discipline.
