Governor hits back at CM Mann for his remarks at Ram Leela Ground
Chandigarh: Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit and the Punjab government have become more active. The governor has hinted at going to the President or the Supreme Court on serious issues. During a press conference on Monday, Purohit said that he will ask PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to carry out a surgical strike on Pakistan over the supply of drugs from across the border.
Governor attacks CM Bhagwant Mann
Attacking the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the governor said, “The Punjab chief minister is not giving me every document, Bhagwant Mann is doing it against the Constitution because the government had gone to the Supreme Court for my intervention. The Supreme Court has clearly said in the order that the Chief Minister will have to respond to the governor’s letter along with the document.”
The Governor said,” “Every orders are given under my name so it is my government in Punjab. It is condemnable that CM Mann spoke against me at Ram Leela Ground. He should not speak like that.”
