NIA team raids truck driver’s house in Moga
Chandigarh: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) team raided the house of Kulwant Singh (42), a truck driver, at Numa town Bilaspur in the wee hours today. He was accompanied by a team of Punjab Police on the occasion.
Truck driver Kulwant Singh said the mobile phones and house of the family members were thoroughly searched but no objectionable object was found in his house.
He said that he is fond of watching a channel broadcast from Canada. While the NIA team suspects him to be associated with the hot-blooded ideology and put up posts from social media.
On this occasion, the NIA team did not allow anyone to enter the house. Kulwant Singh said he is a driver by profession and works in a cement factory in Rampura. The team reached his house around 5 am and questioned him for one-and-a-half to two hours.
