One killed in clash between SGPC employees in Amritsar

Amritsar: One person was killed in a clash between two employees of the accounts branch of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) office here today, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Darbara Singh. The incident took place while having lunch. According to the people present at the spot, the quarrel was due to some old dispute.

In the meantime, another employee attacked Darbara Singh with a kirpan and seriously injured Darbara Singh. Darbara Singh, who was injured, was rushed to Sri Guru Ramdas Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
