Pannun Defeated! AAP Volunteers Stand Guard with ‘Danda and Jhanda’ to Protect Babasaheb’s Statues
Punjab News: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar with great enthusiasm and respect across Punjab. AAP leaders, including MLAs and ministers, gathered with workers and supporters to pay homage to Babasaheb and reaffirm their commitment to his vision of equality and justice.
The celebrations were marked by vibrant events, including garlanding Babasaheb’s statues and speeches highlighting his invaluable contributions to the Constitution of India and the upliftment of marginalized communities. However, the day also witnessed outrage against Khalistani supporter Gurpatwant Singh Pannun’s derogatory remarks about Dr. Ambedkar.
In a symbolic gesture of solidarity and protection, AAP workers and leaders armed with ‘danda and jhanda’ (sticks and flags), guarded Babasaheb’s statues to ensure they remain unharmed. This act was a powerful declaration of the party’s unwavering resolve to safeguard the dignity and legacy of Dr. Ambedkar against any attempts to tarnish it.
AAP leaders also reminded Pannun that Punjab has always stood as a bastion of unity and equality, embodying the ideals of Dr. Ambedkar. The party vowed to expose and counter any divisive agendas aimed at undermining the harmony of the state or insulting the icons of India’s democracy.
An AAP leader said, “Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals continue to inspire us to fight for social justice and equality. No one will be allowed to defame him or disrupt the peace of Punjab. Our workers are not just political activists; they are protectors of Babasaheb’s vision.”
