Punjab E News: The Punjab government has taken major action in the famous post-matric scholarship scam. The government has issued an order to terminate the services of a section officer with immediate effect and stop the pension of another retired deputy controller.
According to the information, these two officers were chargesheeted in October 2021 in the said scam of Rs 63.91 crore.
Based on the investigation of this case, action has now been taken against them. Of these, the deputy controller retired this year. While the services of the serving section officer have been ordered to be terminated. His file has been sent to the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).
