A prisoner who was brought for treatment to a government hospital in Sector-32 of Chandigarh escaped after pushing the police personnel. The prisoner has been identified as Gagandeep Singh. He was brought from the Ambala Central Jail at around 1:30 am. He had swallowed glass in jail. He was brought to the hospital in critical condition.
