Punjab administration tough on unauthorised IELTS centres
Taking a strong stand against the cheating of gullible people by unauthorised IELTS centres, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gurbir Singh Kohli has issued notices to the centres to ensure strict compliance of government directives.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gurbir Singh Kohli said that the majority of the centres do not meet the government rules and despite not having a license, the children of gullible people are being looted financially in the guise of sending them abroad, due to which the government has started cracking down on such people. Action is set to be taken against them in the next few days.
Those centers which do not follow the rules made for the welfare of children will be identified and action will be taken. He said that if any such centre is found running after the chastisement, action will be taken against them without delay.
