Punjab CM boycotts NITI Aayog meeting
Chandigarh: Expressing solidarity with the ‘INDIA’ bloc, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Punjab government has decided that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will not attend the meeting to be chaired by NITI Aayog.
The opposition parties claimed that the Union Budget presented on July 23 was “biased” as it did not provide adequate funds for states of non-NDA parties. ‘
The Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann will boycott the NITI Aayog meeting and will not attend the July 27 meeting.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin was the first to announce a boycott in Chennai. After this, the Congress said that Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Telangana Chief Minister will not attend the meeting.
