Punjab CM calls special Assembly session over BBMB water release to Haryana

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has convened a special session of the Punjab Assembly on Monday discuss the Bhakra Beas Management Board’s (BBMB) decision to release additional water to Haryana.

Mann made the announcement during a meeting with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs in Chandigarh on Wednesday.

He said an all-party meeting on the issue would be held on May 2, followed by the Assembly session.

AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal was also present at the meeting.
