Punjab government gives additional charge of Vigilance Bureau chief to Praveen Kumar Sinha
Chandigarh: The Punjab government has assigned the additional charge of the Vigilance Bureau chief to Praveen Kumar Sinha.
A 1994-batch IPS officer, Sinha is currently serving as the intelligence chief and heads the NRI wing.
The home department has now entrusted him with the additional role of chief director of the Vigilance Bureau.
Earlier today, the Home Department suspended three officers, including the Vigilance Bureau Chief Surinder Pal Singh Parmar.
