Punjab Government Increases Honorarium of Guest Faculty Members at Ambedkar Institute for Careers and Courses, SAS Nagar: Dr. Baljit Kaur

Chandigarh: The Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has decided to increase the honorarium for guest faculty members at the Ambedkar Institute for Careers and Courses, SAS Nagar (Mohali). This announcement was made by Dr. Baljit Kaur, Minister of Social Justice, Empowerment, and Minorities.

Providing further details, Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that the honorarium for guest faculty members, who are invited to provide pre-examination coaching to students at the institute, has been revised. Previously, guest faculty members received ₹750 per hour, but this has now been increased to ₹1500 per hour. This step is expected to enhance the quality of education and provide better training services to the students.

The Minister emphasized that the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to the welfare of all sections of society and continues to work towards the well-being of its employees and students.

She further added that the Punjab Government will remain dedicated to supporting all sectors that contribute to the improvement of education.
