Punjab government to inaugurate special counter for NRIs at Delhi Airport

New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is set to inaugurate a special facilitation centre for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) at Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Terminal-3 in New Delhi today. This initiative aims to assist non-resident Punjabis traveling to India and ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience upon their arrival.

The Punjab government has established this center to provide dedicated support and assistance to NRIs. The facilitation center will be staffed by officers and employees from the Punjab government who will be available to address any concerns or issues faced by the NRIs.

Two Innova vehicles will also be stationed at the center to offer transportation services, dropping visitors off at Punjab Bhawan or nearby locations.

In addition to transportation, the center will offer accommodation services in emergencies, with rooms available at Punjab Bhawan for guests in need.

To further assist NRIs, the Punjab government has launched a helpline number, 011-61232182, as part of the Suvidha Kendras initiative. This helpline will provide additional support and information for NRIs requiring assistance during their stay.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who arrived in Delhi today, will officially inaugurate the facility later in the day.
