Punjab government to provide laptops to IAS and PCS officers

Chandigarh: The IAS and PCS officers of Punjab will get a luxurious laptop as the Punjab government has reportedly given a go ahead to it.

      According to the information, any IAS and PCS officer of Punjab can apply for this laptop, provided he does not already have any laptop given by the Punjab Government, even if an IAS and PCS officer already has a laptop, he can be entitled to get this new laptop. But for this, the officer will have to buy the laptop at the cost of the old laptop, only then he will be able to get a new laptop from the Punjab government under the new policy.
     The Punjab government has set a limit for all IAS and PCS officers to buy laptops, under which they can buy laptops up to Rs 80000 only, more money will not be given to anyone.
